“To a father, nothing is dearer than a daughter.”
A father is the first love, superhero, and a role model for a daughter. She always looks up to him for any advice, support, or just to know that he is and will be there for her, always 🙂
A father and a daughter always share a special bond filled with love, trust, and emotions. He is the safest place in the whole world and wants nothing, but the best for his doll.
Whether you are taking your first steps or walking down the aisle, he will always be standing next to you.
A father gives away his most priceless possession and wants nothing more from his son-in-law than to be the reason for her daughter’s smiling face, always.
When daddy’s little girl becomes a bride-to-be, here are a few things every father must tell his daughter. Most of them she would probably know, but still wants to hear it from you.
1. Don’t worry too much about the wedding
Try to make the wedding-planning as stress-free as possible for her. Let her know that the wedding day should be about both of you and she shouldn’t be worried about anything at all.
2. Follow your heart
And do what makes you happy. After your marriage, there might be times, when you feel that your decision is based on other’s likings or behaviors, but my advice would be to always follow your heart and do what’s right.
3. Be friends as well as partners
You and your partner should try and be friends first, then being husband and wife. It will make the journey a lot easier and fun. And also, there’s nothing you wouldn’t do for your best friend in life.
4. Make sure you realize marriage is not always a bed of roses
Marriage is a journey that evolves with time, trust, patience, and acceptance. And it’s okay if some days are not as great as other days.
5. Always & respect yourself
If you don’t respect yourself, how would you expect your partner to do it?
6. Treat your in-laws the way you want us to be treated

And that’s the way it should always be. You have to love and respect them the same way you want your husband to love and respect us.
7. Learn how to apologize
Trust me, it’s the easiest way to make relationships. Don’t be afraid to swallow your pride and accept if you have done anything wrong. Apologize sincerely will only stronger your relationship.
8. Adapt and do not hesitate to learn new things
His family might be different from ours. They might have a different lifestyle, and you might even have to mold yourself according to them and that’s perfectly okay. The faster you adopt the change, the easier it would be for you.
9. The key to a happy marriage is low expectations
It takes a lot of work to make your marriage, successful, but love makes it all easy. It should be the foundation of your marriage, along with low expectations from your partner.
You will have a lot happier days when you start noticing the little things you both do for each other, rather than comparing other couples.
10. You both should be equals
Never forget that you are equals in this new and exciting journey of marriage.
11. His mother might mean the world to him
And that is ‘Okay’. Men are generally close to their mothers, so instead of complaining respect their precious bond and accept his mother as your mother open-heartedly. It will strengthen your bond with your partner as well.
12. Your husband deserves his space
Do not try and change him too much. Learn to accept him the way he is and give him space, if needed. He had a life before you two got married, and would like to keep the same individuality even after marriage.
13. Never run away from any situation
There might be situations after your wedding when you might feel that you can’t handle things anymore. Always remember to think about the happy days you two have spent together and look for ways to try to make your relationship better.
14. This will always be your home
From now on you will have a new life, a new home. It doesn’t mean that this will not be your home anymore, in fact, now you have two homes. The doors to this home and to our hearts are always open for you.
15. I am there for you, always

For me, no matter how old you grow, you will always remain my little princess and you can always count on me. I love you. Always have and always will!
